Learn About The Production Characteristics Of Lithium Batteries

Leave a message

Lithium battery is a kind of battery that uses lithium metal or lithium alloy as positive/negative material and uses non-aqueous electrolyte solution. The advantages of lithium batteries, such as extremely low self-discharge rate and steep discharge voltage, enable the pacemaker implanted in the human body to operate for a long time without the need for recharging. Lithium batteries generally have a nominal voltage higher than 3.0 volts, which is more suitable for integrated circuit power supply.

Manganese dioxide batteries are widely used in calculators, digital cameras and watches. In order to develop types with better functions, people have studied various materials to produce unprecedented products. With the development of science and technology, lithium batteries have become the mainstream. Lithium batteries can be roughly divided into two types: lithium metal batteries and lithium ion batteries.

Lithium-ion batteries can be recharged, and their safety, specific capacity, self-discharge rate and cost performance are superior to those of lithium-ion batteries. Due to its own high-tech requirements, only a few companies in the country are producing such lithium metal batteries. Lithium battery operation principle: Lithium batteries generally use manganese dioxide as the positive electrode material, and lithium metal or its alloy metal as the negative electrode material and non-aqueous electrolyte solution.

Discharge reaction: Li MnO2=LiMnO2 Lithium battery: Lithium ion batteries generally use lithium alloy metal oxide as the positive electrode material, graphite as the negative electrode material, and non-aqueous electrolyte. The reaction on the charged positive electrode is LiCoO2=Li(1-x)CoO2 xLi xe- (electrons).
